The agency

We do not work for an insurance company.

We work for the households we write. That is the whole difference, and every other thing on this site follows from it.

Shrewsbury · Massachusetts

Why we started this

Both of us kept running into the same thing from opposite directions. People had insurance they did not understand, bought from someone they could not reach, and they only found out what it did or did not cover on the day it mattered.

Not because anyone was dishonest. Because the business is set up to sell a policy once and then leave it alone. Nobody is paid to go back and read it. The renewal arrives, the card gets charged, and years go by.

So we built the agency around the part everyone else treats as optional: reading it again, every year, and picking up the phone before you have to.

Who you would be dealing with

Two people, both reachable.

  • Greg Sandoval, president, licensed producer

    Greg Sandoval

    President, licensed producer

Greg is the person who answers when you call. He is a licensed Massachusetts producer, and talking with people is the part of this work he genuinely loves. When your policy needs something from an insurance company, Greg is the one who gets on the phone with them for you.

  • Kealan Green, founder, systems and operations

    Kealan Green

    Founder, systems and operations

Kealan is the reason nothing about your file slips. He builds the systems that watch your renewal dates and make sure the thing we said would happen actually happens. He comes out of Massachusetts real estate, where looking out for people through the biggest purchase of their lives was the whole job.

And it is just us, on purpose. When you call, you are talking to somebody who already knows your file.

About independent agencies

What does independent actually mean?

It means we do not work for an insurance company. A captive agent can only sell you what their one company offers, so their answer to every question is that same company. We hold appointments with several, and we place your policy with whichever one fits your household best.

The practical difference shows up later. When a company raises rates or gets difficult about claims, a captive agent has nowhere to move you. We do.

Are you an agent or a broker?

In Massachusetts both are licensed producers, and in everyday use people mix the words freely. The distinction that actually matters to you is whether the person is tied to one company or free to shop several. We are free to shop.

Does it cost more to use an agency than to go direct?

No. Our compensation comes from the insurance company, built into the same premium you would pay going direct to that company. You’re not paying a markup for having somebody in your corner.

Do you handle the whole state?

We are licensed across Massachusetts. We are based in the Shrewsbury area, so that’s where we know the towns, the housing stock, and the roads best, but we write throughout the state.

Why should I use a person at all in 2026?

For the easy year, you probably don’t need to. The value shows up in the years that are not easy: when the renewal jumps, when a claim gets complicated, when your situation changes and nobody at a website notices.

A form can’t tell you that your liability limits stopped making sense three years ago. That is the whole job.

The cheapest way to find out is to let us read what you already have. It costs nothing, and the answer is straight either way.
