When it goes wrong, call us first.
Not the 800 number. Not the app. Us. This is the moment the whole thing was bought for, and it is the moment you should not be handling alone.
Our number is (508) 735-0509. Save it in your phone now, while nothing is on fire.

Most people meet their insurance company exactly once, on the worst day of their year, through a stranger reading from a screen.
You have paid premiums for years to a company you have never spoken to. Then the tree comes through the roof, and the relationship starts at the hardest possible moment, with somebody who has never heard of you and has forty other files open.
That is the part we can change. We already have your file. We know what you bought and why. So the first call goes to a person who can tell you in one phone call whether this is covered, what it is likely to cost you, and what happens next.
Then we stay in it. A claim is not finished when it is reported, and the difference between a claim that closes cleanly and one that drags for months is usually whether anybody was pushing on your behalf.

Make it safe
People first. Then stop the damage spreading if you can do it safely. Water off, window boarded, car moved.

Call us
(508) 735-0509. Tell us what happened in whatever order it comes out. We will ask the rest.

Photograph what you can
Wide shots and close ones, before anything gets cleaned up or thrown out. It is the cheapest evidence there is.

Keep the receipts
Hotel, tow, tarp, dehumidifier, the emergency plumber. Much of it may be recoverable, but only if it was documented.

Let us do the chasing
You shouldn’t be the one calling an adjuster for a status update. That is our end of the arrangement.
What we will not do
We will never talk you out of a claim you are entitled to make. We will tell you plainly when filing one is likely to cost you more than it pays, and then the decision is yours.
Straight answers
Before you file
Should I call you or call the company?
Call us first. You can reach the company directly and sometimes that is the fastest route at two in the morning, but start with us whenever you have the choice. We would rather hear it from you before a file is opened, because the first few things said on a claim tend to shape the rest of it.
Will reporting a claim raise my rates?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no, and it depends on the claim, the coverage, and the company. That’s exactly the conversation to have before you file rather than after. We will tell you honestly when a small claim is likely to cost you more over the following years than it pays out today.
What we will not do is tell you not to report something you are entitled to report. Our job is to make sure you know what you are choosing.
What do you actually do once I have called?
We report it, we make sure it is filed under the right coverage, and we stay on it. If the adjuster goes quiet, we chase. If something is denied and we think it should not be, we push. You keep dealing with us rather than with whoever answers the queue that day.
What should I have ready when I call?
Whatever you have, which after an accident or a burst pipe is usually not much. Where it happened, when, who else was involved, and whether anyone is hurt. Photographs if it is safe to take them. If you don’t have any of it, call anyway and we’ll work with what there is.
It is the middle of the night. What now?
Make sure everybody is safe and stop the damage from getting worse: shut the water off, board the window, get the car towed somewhere secure. Then report it to the company overnight if it can’t wait, and call us when we open. We’ll pick it up from there.

Better to have our number before you need it.
If you are with us, our number is the only one you have to remember. If you are not, this is what you would be getting.
